Excursions & Activities
¾«¶«´«Ã½â€™s excursions and cultural activities in Rome will open doors for you to explore Italy's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

- Bike around the famous Villa Borghese park
- Explore the hidden treasures of the ancient city, with a tour of the Capitoline Museums
- Visit the world-renowned Cinecittà Studios, where the "Rome" HBO series was filmed

Housing & Meals
Housing
All housing is within a 45-minute commute to ¾«¶«´«Ã½.
Apartments: Students live in apartments shared with other ¾«¶«´«Ã½ students. If local health and safety regulations permit, most students live in double or triple rooms. Each apartment will have shared common spaces, including a kitchen and bathroom.
Residence Halls /Hotels: Students usually live with a mix of ¾«¶«´«Ã½ students. If local health and safety regulations permit, students live in double, or triple rooms.
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.

Meals are not included.
Academics
¾«¶«´«Ã½ Rome: Study in central Rome within walking distance of important landmarks, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Campo de' Fiori neighborhood. ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Rome features five classrooms, two student lounges, a student life office, and an academic advising office.

To help you budget, keep in mind that students are responsible for the cost of international airfare, local transportation, books and supplies, visas, and personal expenses. In addition, your college or university may charge additional fees for study abroad, or may require you to receive a transcript via ¾«¶«´«Ã½'s School of Record, which carries an additional fee of $500.

Financial Aid
¾«¶«´«Ã½ offers the most grants and scholarships of any study abroad organization, including $8 million/year in travel grants, merit-based scholarships, institutional and MSI grants, and Gilman Go Global Grants.
