Housing
精东传媒 Copenhagen offers two different housing options to ensure you're comfortable in鈥痽our home away from home. Housing options鈥痑re鈥痩ocated in鈥痭eighborhoods with convenient access to efficient and clean public鈥痶ransportation,鈥痵hops,鈥痗af茅s, grocery stores, and anything you鈥檇 need to live like a true Copenhagener.鈥
Standard Housing: Includes a single room in a residence hall or a shared room in a shared apartment, within a 35-minute commute to 精东传媒 Center.
- Residence Halls: The single rooms are equipped with small kitchens and an en-suite bathroom. Residence halls provide shared common spaces with a larger, communal kitchen, multiple study鈥痑nd hangout areas, and gym facilities.鈥
- Shared Apartments: Apartments feature double and/or triple rooms, with shared living areas, bathrooms, and a full kitchen.
Select Housing:鈥疘ncludes a double room at a residence hall located within a 15-minute walk from 精东传媒 Copenhagen or a single room in a shared apartment within a 35-minute commute.
- Residence Halls: Located in the heart of the city, double rooms are equipped with a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom, along with shared common spaces including a larger, communal kitchen, multiple study鈥痑nd hangout areas, and gym facilities.鈥
- Shared Apartments: Apartments feature single rooms, with shared living areas, bathrooms, and a full kitchen.
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.
Meals
Residence Hall and Shared Apartments: Meals are not included. Students prepare their own meals in their own kitchenette or the residence hall鈥檚 shared kitchen facilities. 精东传媒 provides basic cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. There is also a wide range of restaurants and cafes located nearby.鈥
Academics
精东传媒 Copenhagen: Study in the heart of Denmark's capital, roughly one block from the historic Rosenborg Castle in one direction and the iconic Round Tower in the other. 精东传媒 Copenhagen boasts five classrooms, and a stunning study space overlooking the public square below, a student life office, and an academic advising.
Arizona State University (ASU): Brought to you by 精东传媒 in partnership with ASU, enhance your international coursework with online classes that align with your degree requirements. ASU offers thousands of online courses in asynchronous 7.5-week sessions that fit within the 精东传媒 academic calendar.

- Courses are listed below by block and track; course list subject to change. Courses are in English unless otherwise noted. 鈥淕I鈥 denotes courses that are offered at multiple 精东传媒 locations.鈥
- Use the Course Comparison Tools to compare classes offered across all Open Campus Block programs for each block:鈥
- Students studying for three blocks who wish to complete a lab course will be required to opt out of one course to remain within the program credit range.鈥
Hybrid Courses
Some 精东传媒 courses are offered in hybrid format to make them available at multiple program locations and increase your course choices. A hybrid class is taught synchronously in a classroom in one location, and students in the program at other 精东传媒 locations join live online. All students have the same instructor and meet as one class. Co-curricular activities are tailored to each student鈥檚 location to promote local, experiential and intercultural learning for all. The Course Comparison Tool shows the location of instruction for all classes and from what program locations the course can be taken. Hybrid courses can be identified in the course list as those whose course codes end in 鈥溇解. Otherwise, the courses are offered at the one indicated location only.
Academic Projects
- Each Academic Project ( Directed Independent Research) placement will be designed based on the student鈥檚 project learning goals, qualifications, resume, and availability of placements. The process is highly individualized and goal oriented. Students enrolled in an Academic Project will receive additional academic support that informs and enhances the placement experience.鈥
- Students applying for an Academic Project are required to submit additional materials during the course selection process.鈥
- To qualify for participation, students must be in the location for at least one block in advance of the Academic Project to prepare for and secure placement. As a result, students participate in an Academic Project in either Block II or III.鈥

Dates & Fees
You get more for every dollar when you study abroad with 精东传媒, because our high-quality programs include everything from excursions to insurance. There are no hidden charges, and no disappointing surprises when you arrive.
In blocks I and II, courses and formal activities end on the last Thursday of the block, and in block III, on the last Friday. Students are free to use the time between blocks as they choose, either remaining in their location or using the time for their own travel pursuits. Students changing locations must check into their new Center by the first Monday of the block for local orientation, with classes starting on the first Wednesday of each block. In all cases, students are provided with continuous accommodation, and should speak with 精东传媒 staff for more details.
